Privacy Policy

Last updated October 13, 2026

This policy explains how Compound Technologies, Inc., doing business as Summer (“Summer,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses and shares personal information through gosummer.ai, our demo request form and Summer sign-in. Send questions to support@gosummer.ai.

Scope

This policy covers visitors to gosummer.ai and people who request a demo or sign in to a Summer workspace.

Business customers use Summer to run their support operations. When they do, we process their data, including information about their patients and users, under our agreement with that customer and on its instructions. The customer’s own privacy notice governs that information. Send questions about it to the customer.

Information we collect

Demo requests

When you request a demo, we collect your work email, first and last name, company name, your estimate of monthly support tickets, how you heard about Summer if you tell us, and your agreement to be contacted. Each request gets a random ID so that a retried submission reaches us once.

If you type your work email into the box on our home page, your browser keeps it in that tab only to fill in the demo request form, then clears it. It reaches us only if you send the demo request.

Sign in with Google

If you choose Sign in with Google, Google shares your email address, whether Google has verified it, and an account identifier. We use this only to check whether the email belongs to an existing Summer account. Sign-in does not create accounts. If no account matches, we discard the information. If an account matches, we keep the email in a signed session cookie for up to 12 hours.

Device and usage information

Our hosting provider records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, the referring page and the time. We use these details to run the website, keep it secure and limit abuse of our forms.

Please do not send health information about yourself or anyone else through our public forms.

Cookies and advertising

We use two cookies for sign-in. vidra_oauth protects the Google sign-in step and expires after 10 minutes. vidra_session keeps you signed in for up to 12 hours.

Our home page, demo request page and signup page load the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta when someone views one of these pages and when we accept a demo request. It does not send your form answers. Meta may set cookies and receive your IP address and browser details, and it uses them under its own policies, including to measure and improve our ads. The pixel does not load on the sign-in page. You can limit this tracking in your browser’s cookie settings and in your Meta ad preferences.

How we use information

  • To answer demo requests and contact you about Summer.
  • To provide and secure sign-in to Summer workspaces.
  • To run, maintain and improve the website.
  • To measure how our marketing performs.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • To comply with the law and enforce our terms.

Google user data

Summer’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to sign you in. We do not sell it, use it for advertising or use it to train AI models. People at Summer do not read it unless that is needed for security, to comply with the law, or you ask us to.

How we share information

We share personal information with:

  • Service providers that help us run Summer: Vercel for website hosting, Supabase for the database that queues our internal notifications, Slack for the internal channel where our team receives demo requests, Resend for email delivery, Google for sign-in and Meta for advertising measurement.
  • Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or when we need to protect the rights, property or safety of Summer, our users or others.
  • A buyer or successor if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

We do not sell personal information for money. Under some state laws, our use of the Meta Pixel can count as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described below.

How long we keep information

We keep demo requests as long as we need them to follow up with you and to keep business records. Then we delete them or keep them in a form that no longer identifies you. Sign-in cookies expire as described above. Our hosting provider keeps server logs for a limited period.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, signed cookies that page scripts cannot read, and limits on form submissions. No method of sending or storing information is fully secure.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to share, correct or delete your personal information, and to opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising. To make a request, email support@gosummer.ai. We will verify your request and respond as the law requires. Where the law allows, an authorized agent can make a request for you. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. If we send you marketing email, you can opt out at any time.

Children

Summer is a service for businesses. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Where we process information

We are based in the United States and process information there.

Changes to this policy

We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will give more notice where the law requires it.
